West Palm Beach

West Palm Beach, Florida - Cruzan Amphitheatre (6/26)

Did You Know?
In the late 1800s, industrialist Henry Flagler’s Florida East Coast Railroad (FEC) began service, opening up Palm Beach County to tourism and interstate trade. In 1894 Flagler completed the 1,100-room Royal Poinciana Hotel on the shores of Lake Worth in Palm Beach and extended his railroad to its service town, West Palm Beach. The Royal Poinciana Hotel was, at the time, the largest wooden structure in the world, and the world's largest resort.
