The first phonograph records were made in Camden, NJ by Victor Talking Machine Company. The first commercial electrical recording was made at the company's Camden studios on February 26, 1925 with a group of eight popular Victor artists, Billy Murray, Frank Banta, Henry Burr, Albert Campbell, Frank Croxton, John Meyer, Monroe Silver, and Rudy Wiedoeft in "A Miniature Concert." The result was issued as a 12-inch 78 rpm record (Victor 35753).
